After studying historical handwoven textiles and after working for 10 years in the decorating industry, Kate Teyssier returned to the heritage sector working as an archivist for a national museum, which allowed her to further explore her passion for the subject before developing her own textiles.

Her mission is to create beautiful and unique furnishing textiles, and her design philosophy and independent spirit ensures her fabrics are at the forefront of the interior textile industry. Based in her Essex design studio, Kate works closely with family run printers and weaving mills across Europe, developing on traditional techniques to produce these individual textiles.
